VILLAGE SPEED COPS WANTED - Fenland Today: "The scheme will operate on teams of three, who will be given training and guidance by police. They will operate a radar gun and note down vehicle details. Offenders will be reported to police who then send out warning letters to the vehicle's registered keeper.

Police will only send out two letters – a third breach of the speed limit will lead to their details being circulated to officers for targeted action with a view to prosecution."
